ZVEX opted to use rare Russian GT308V germanium transistors that they allegedly found in a warehouse in Russia. And, according to the brand, this iteration is the new standard-issue Fuzz Factory 7. The vintage transistors, ZVEX claims, ‘turn on’ a lot faster than others, resulting in different fuzz/oscillation textures and response.
