OPEN-GEAR PING V93N TUNERS

The Open-Gear Ping tuning machines have smooth action and make it easier to fine-tune your instrument.

SOLID ADIRONDACK SPRUCE TOP

Before World War II, Adirondack Spruce was the main type of wood that pretty much defined the guitars of that era. With so many trees having been cut down to make guitars and other products, only recently has Adirondack Spruce made a comeback as a new generation of trees have matured.

This specie of wood is able to offer a higher ceiling for volume. Adirondack Spruce can be played loudly without losing clarity, and therefore it’s found on custom-made, specialty guitars like this Eastman E10SS/v.

SOLID MAHOGANY BACK AND SIDES

As a guitar top, mahogany has a solid, punchy tone with low overtone content and good high-end response. Mahogany back and sides often emphasise bass and treble, with more overtone coloration. Perfect for strumming and to accompany vocals.

One after another, the quality of woods we see used by Eastman are absolutely amazing! The back on this guitar is an extremely fine example of their use of high grade timber.

ANTIQUE VARNIH FINISH

Eastman have been ageing violins for many years and they have perfected the look and feel of a vintage instrument. They have taken these techniques and transferred this process across to their guitars and are now making some of the most realistically 'aged' guitars on the market.

RED SWIRL MARIO PROULX PICKGUARD

Tortoloid is a newly developed pickguard material by luthier Mario Proulx, using poured resins and dyes to reproduce the look of actual tortoise shell. Each Tortoloid pickguard or sheet is individually made. Like natural shell, no two have exactly the same pattern. it has semi-transparent areas that intensify's the colour of the soundboard to complement your guitar's appearance. Little details like this show why Eastman are quickly become one of the most sought after guitar brands for their fine detail and vintage touches.

SLOPE SHOULDER DREADNOUGHT

The classic Slope Shoulder Dreadnought shape produces a robust voice with low-end power, a snappy midrange, and strong, clear treble notes. The guitar will appeal to flat pickers and lovers of traditional guitar shapes and tones.

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY

As with all Eastman instruments, this guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity. This is a nice reminder of the care and attention that goes into these beautiful handmade guitars.
